- March 9th, 2006: Paul Deitel Recognized as Java Champion
Paul J. Deitel was recently recognized as Java Champion, one of few than 70 individuals earning that designation worldwide. The Java Technology Champions Program was created by Sun Microsystems, and recognizes Java advocates and industry luminaries including authors, professors, senior architects and community members. Paul was recognized as the co-author of the textbook "Java How to Program " and for his long history of providing professional Java programming courses to the Java community. - September 7, 2005: We are hard at work updating our Microsoft .NET programming textbooks Visual Basic 2005 How to Program, 3/e, and C# How to Program, 2/e, and our Deitel Developer Series book C# for Programmers, 2/e (formerly called C# for Experienced Programmers). The C# books will be published close to Microsoft's release of Visual Studio 2005 in November and the Visual Basic book will be published shortly thereafter. Both How to Program books will be available for use in January classes.
