Blogger (a blog publishing and search site, owned by Google) provides the same search as Google Blog Search but with the Blogger interface.  Subscribe to blog feeds to receive regular updates as new blog entries are posted.
Icerocket

Icerocket is a blog search engine that allows you to search by topic tag. Simply select one of the topic tags from the list provided or insert your own in the textbox provided. The list is arranged in alphabetical order and the larger and bolder the text, the more popular that topic is. Other searches from IceRocket include phone pics, images, news (e.g., top stories, sports), and MySpace (for locating anyone on the site).

You can search for blogs on Technorati either by typing in a subject or clicking on the topic list provided. A list of recently posted blogs and the day's most popular blogs can also be found here. The "Explore" option on Technorati allows you to search the hottest blogs worldwide. You can select from a list of topics or enter one of your own. Technorati also allows you to search by tag (subject or category). A box indicates the day’s hottest searched tags. Includes an alphabetical list of all available tags. The most popular terms appear in larger and bolder print.
