Our Open Source Resource Center focuses on the concept of open source and the numerous open source applications available. Arguably, the most widely recognized open source software is Linux—a robust operating system, based on UNIX, that is open source and freely available under the GNU Public License (GPL). Companies and individuals can view the source code, modify the code to meet their unique needs, and even create their own Linux-based, for-sale products. In our Linux Resource Center you'll find
- Free and for-sale Linux distributions including Red Hat, Debian, SuSE, GNU, Gentoo, Ubuntu, DSL, Mandriva, Slackware, Linspire and uClinux.
