Java and Open Source Skills Assessment
http://www.javablackbelt.com/
JavaBlackBelt.com is a community for Java and open source skills assessment. The color of the belt a programmer earns is determined on a track and testing system (http://www.javablackbelt.com/WikiPage.wwa?action=view&page=AboutExam). Programmers can also contribute test questions or make suggestions for making the current exams better. Java SE Certification consists of passing tests on Java 5 new language features, Java 5 new base library features, Java 5 new tools and tool features, and Java SE (basic, core, API, collections, I/O, networking, reflection API, tools, and concurrency). Java Web Certification consists of servlets, JSP, struts, JSF 1.1 and Tapestry 4. In addition to the testing the site offers resources to assist you in studying of the tests.

EPractize Labs
http://www.epractizelabs.com/index.html
EPractize Labs provides products for employers who want to test the skills of potential employees and for programmers to prepare for Sun certification exams. Their employee evaluation products test for knowledge in object-oriented programming, core Java programming, J2EE Web component development, J2EE business component development, and Java/J2EE design. The packages are divided into 3 levels (junior, middle and senior) and assess a person's skills in object-oriented programming concepts, Java programming, the J2EE web tier, the J2EE business tier, J2EE design knowledge, J2EE patterns and UML. A free trial is available to download. Their self-testing products for Sun certification exams include practice labs containing multiple-choice questions, review tips, examples, case studies, and mock exams. A focus lab keeps track of incorrect answers and sorts them by category so that users can concentrate on areas where they need additional study. Current labs include: the Sun Certified Enterprise Architect, Part 1 exam (SCEA) (http://www.epractizelabs.com/scea-exam-part1.html), the Sun Certified Enterprise Architect, Parts 2 and 3 exam (SCEA) (http://www.epractizelabs.com/scea-exam-part23.html), and the Sun Certified Java Programmer for the Java 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0 and the Standard Edition 5.0 Upgrade exam (SCJP 5.0) (http://www.epractizelabs.com/scjp-exam-5-prepkit.html).
