Dive Into™ C and C++ programming with world-class instructor-led training from Deitel & Associates, Inc. Our course offerings in ANSI C, C++ and object-oriented programming help people at all levels of experience master C, C++ and object-oriented programming through intense, clear, hands-on training.

Our most popular course, "C++ and Object-Oriented Programming," is for experienced C programmers. In five days, students become proficient in C++, understand the object-oriented paradigm, and participate in a challenging laboratory assignment in which they complete a group project involving object-oriented design and object-oriented programming in C++.

People with little or no programming experience should begin with "Introduction to ANSI C and C++ Programming: Part 1 (for Non-programmers)." COBOL programmers who do not know C should begin with "Introduction to ANSI C and C++ Programming: Part 2 (for Non- C Programmers)" then proceed to "C++ and Object-Oriented Programming (for C Programmers)." People who know C++, might choose "Data Structures and Software Reusability in C++: Using Class Libraries" or "Advanced C++ and Object-Oriented Programming"-these courses can be taken in any order.

All C++ courses are offered in an intensive, 5-day, lecture/lab format. The courses use a "live-code approach" with extensive code walkthroughs of many C++ programs. Solutions are provided for the laboratory exercises. Each course assumes students are generally familiar with using their operating system environment and text editor.

Each student receives a copy of the best-selling, 1300-page Prentice Hall textbook C++ How to Program by Harvey and Paul Deitel.
